The reduction of muscle contraction and therapeutic massages suppose a moment of comfort and relax for the body, helping to release substances called endorphins: hormones that act as natural antidepressants, generating positive emotions of well-being and helping us to fight the pain.

Minor but repeated strains can very often exceed the ability of our muscles to adapt. Although any muscle is susceptible to overload, the most affected are the trapezius muscles and neck, triceps and paravertebral muscles of the spine.

Shiatsu is an ancient Japanese therapy that aims to restore the physical and energetic balance of the human being. “Shiatsu” means “pressure with the fingers”, although the massage can be applied in different ways: pressing with the thumbs, with the palms of the hand, the forearms, the elbows, the knees and the feet, achieving a unique experience for the receiver.

The Shiatsu therapist uses the weight of their body and the energy of their Hara to perform the pressure in a harmonious and deep way; as if penetrating the physical body of the patient to reach their emotions and spirit.
