Situated in southern Andalusia, west of Malaga, in the Guadalhorce valley, Gibralgalia  is a small village in an elevated position at the top of a valley with a population of only 400, on the boundary of the Municipality of Coin , Pizarra and Casarabonela.

The village is a five minute walk from the Hotel which is situated in its own grounds of some 3,700m² is at the end of the village track where rural life and the countryside opens to the Sierras.
